Why RFP Exists
 

Academic journals remain essential spaces for publishing formal research. Yet many of the ideas that shape scholarly work emerge through reflection, discussion, and intellectual exploration long before they become journal articles. Resources for Professors (RFP) was created as a space where scholars can share these reflections. The platform invites professors across disciplines to contribute scholarly reflective essays on teaching, research, academic life, and the broader culture of scholarship. In addition to these reflections, RFP also provides curated resources designed to support professors in their research, teaching, and professional development. By bringing together perspectives from different fields alongside practical academic resources, RFP aims to encourage conversation, curiosity, and intellectual exchange.
